This is a plot of probability density and transmission coefficient vs. energy at several points in the device. The blue curve shows the antiresonances in the contact, the red curve shows antiresonances and resonances associated with the modulation doped quantum well, and the green curve shows a resonances due to the heterostructure quantum well. The black curve is the transmission coefficient.

Accuracy of concentration calculation is dependent on integration of the traveling wave solution over the energy spectrum. The efficiency of the calculation is significantly improved by focusing integration resources around the resonances and anti-resonances.
